I couldn’t sleep.
The tooth kept pulsing — like a small, insane drum inside my jaw.
At 4:37 a.m. I gave up, sat down, and opened the machine.
Every throb became a beat. Every sting a rhythm.
The sound of the metal in my mouth turned into the bassline.
I recorded the pain before it left me —
and when the track was done, it felt like the tooth had pulled itself out.
Now it’s quiet. Too quiet.

Mergel, a world known Dark Psytrance project of Andrei Krasnoperov that started in late 2007 in Russia. Since Andrei's first psytrance influences in 2006, he became dedicated to the Dark Psytrance scene, and later on achieved great success through a range of powerful releases. 
His music takes elements of all psytrance genres, including psycore and high tech, a unique formula that transcends the crowds in every of his live acts.

The Engineered Age has begun and brought chaos and disorder to planet Earth. Humankind is threatened and on the brink of extinction. They are now faced with a rigid dichotomy. The last human lifeforms must unite and revolt against the cybernetic puppets and the suppression by machines, or seek to manipulate artificial intelligence and forge an augmented transmutation of their species, a cybernetic symbiosis.
