الأغنية تتكلم عن اثنين كانوا أقرب من أي شيء
كانوا يعيشون كأن الدنيا ما فيها غيرهم، أفضل أصدقاء يتقاسمون كل شيء صغير وكبير.
كان بينهم أمان، وكان بينهم صدق لدرجة إن العلاقة صارت أكبر من كلمة صداقة.
لكن فجأة يصير شيء يغيّر كل شيء
مو لازم يكون خيانة أو موقف كبير، أحيانًا كلمة وحدة أو حدث بسيط يكسر الشعور اللي بينهم.
بعدها يحاولون يتظاهرون إنهم يقدرون يرجعون مثل قبل، يرجعون مجرد
"أصدقاء".
بس الحقيقة إنهم ما يقدرون. العلاقة ما صارت مثل أول، وصار بينهم فراغ حتى وهم يتكلمون.
والأصعب من هذا كله إنهم لسا يتمنون يرجعون، لسا في داخلهم نفس الحنين ونفس الذكريات اللي ما تروح.
بس مهما حاولوا، كل محاولة تصير تذكير مؤلم إن الشيء اللي ضاع ما يرجع.
كأن الأغنية تقول إن بعض العلاقات ما تنكسر فجأة، هي تنكسر بهدوء...
خطوة ورا خطوة... لين تصحى وتلقى نفسك قدام شخص تعرف كل تفاصيله، بس ايش تحس إنه غريب
