Another of my original Rock songs - again vocals by myself.

Like a Stone

I wrote 'Crumble' especially to perform at the IVC London event held at the Concert Artistes' Association venue in Covent Garden on Saturday, 14 November 2015.  Many thanks to everyone at the IVC and Open Mic Night for their warmth, welcome and support.  I really enjoyed the whole evening, meeting everyone, and especially the opportunity to sing and perform 'Crumble' and 'Locked in a Maze' that evening.

Crumble

'Wolves of Love' is another of my original song compositions written in January 2016; it's about the rocky road of love.

I wrote this song in February 2016; it's about the pitfalls of falling in love and a moment when lost love becomes apparent.

I Never Said I'd Be Yours

I wrote 'Never Lie To You', a soft rock song, in March 2015 and the demo was produced soon afterwards.  After playing it at home today, I decided to upload it to Soundcloud.  It's a bit of a long song!

I wrote 'Before My Heart Breaks' in November 2015 and had it recorded on 28.05.2016.  It has now been released digitally by Nub Music and is available on an array of platforms including Amazon, Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Shazam etc.

Before My Heart Breaks

I wrote this song in August 2016.  The idea behind it was to write a kind of music blog about a valued relationship which had become strained, and the desire to maintain the friendship nonetheless - albeit in a looser way.

Message Me

I wrote Invincible in October 2013 and this track was recorded at EQ Studios by Producer John Hamilton the following month.   After the recording was made, I thought every artiste in the universe would want to sing a song about a medieval knight and his horse.  However, surprisingly, nobody at that time jumped upon the opportunity.  I hope you enjoy listening to it.

Invincible

I wrote Anymore in August 2015 and had it produced shortly after at EQ Studios London (Producer John Hamilton).  It’s a sad, romantic ballad with myself on vocals.  After hearing the finished production, someone described it as the kind of song you might hear in a musical production and I agree that it has that quality about it.

I wrote this song in January 2014 and this recording was made shortly afterwards.  John Hamilton is the producer (EQ Studios London) and John joined me on vocals for the harmony part.

As a singer-songwriter, my original song called In The End has been a staple in a lot of my live Sets since October 2016.  Many thanks to Stu E Skinner who produced the track.  Stu has given the end of this track a big brass band finale.  I hope you like it.

On 13th February 2021, I uploaded the music video of my original song called 'Do I Make Much Sense To You' to my YouTube Channel called Jane W Tomsett.  The track has been produced by Stu E Skinner of PiggyFy Studio, Colchester and the accompanying music video has been produced by Elliot Richardson of Highfield Studio.  Many thanks to Stu and Elliot for their wonderful work. On Friday, 24th May 2019, two versions of my original song called Hide, produced as a Dance track, were digitally released by Nub Music.   Available as a Single and also as an Extended play version, I hope you will be able to check it out; it can be found on platforms such as Amazon, Spotify, Apple, iTunes, Deezer and Tidal.

On Friday, 19th October 2018, my original indie rock track called Too Cold was digitally released onto a range of digital music platforms including Amazon, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer, Spotify etc by Nub Music.  To accompany the track, a rock video of Too Cold was also released on 19th October 2018.  The Too Cold track was produced by Stuart Eccles-Skinner.

On Friday, 2nd March 2018, my original rock song A Day Late was released by Nub Music onto a range of digital music platforms including Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.  The track has been produced by Stuart Eccles-Skinner.

My original song 'Before My Heart Breaks' (which you can hear here!) went on general digital release on 09.09.2016 under Jane Tomsett Before My Heart Breaks (Nub Music).  You can find it on Amazon, iTunes, Spotify, Deezer, Shazam and an array of other music platforms worldwide.  That evening, I marked the occasion by singing it live at the King William IV pub Open Mic event in Pimlico, London.

 I am also very proud to be a singer/songwriter contributor to The Pocket Gods and Friends 100x30 Shakespeare verses Streaming album with the song 'As Viola'.  This album is now on general digital release and CD format.

I'm a singer-songwriter living in Colchester in Essex, and here on Soundcloud are recordings of some of my original songs with myself on vocals.  I perform some of my original songs at Open Mic events in both London and Essex.
