“Rosé Sky” is my love letter to the transgender and queer dance community. The title is a metaphor for the pink and blue in the trans flag projected onto the sky, looking like it would be during a pink sunset. The longer I have been trans, the more my identity has become an all-encompassing part of my life. The music on the project reflects this energy, as I took most of my inspiration from trans and queer dance parties that I have had the privilege to experience.

DJ/producer Jane Lincoln Ehnhuus has made music her passion and chosen medium, through which she expresses her gratitude and love towards those around her. Specializing in synthesis, drum programming, and live performance, her music is a compelling expression of trans identity and human connection.

In Her Words:
“I tested out most of these blends at a birthday party where a dear friend came behind the booth and said to me, “it’s giving tranny techno.” As a free-form dj, I realized about a year ago that I hadn’t sat down and figured out how to mix purely techno for more than 20 minutes before diverting, despite most of my nights out being queer techno parties. So when Lee @puppyonline asked me to contribute to Glue, I knew i had to pay homage to those parties with a Peak Time techno mix, evoking my favorite mornings in a Brooklyn warehouse dancing with dolls and doing bumps with bears. My sound selection drew inspiration from the highly processed noise of psytrance and bass but with my usual synth brightness woven through. Featuring unreleased janelovesu! tracks, this one is for those who carry until close 🌅
