The past few months I’ve been backpacking in Australia have inspired me to write a collection of songs. The amazing places I still can't believe exist, the cool local and backpacker friends I’ve made, the weird and crazy things I’ve seen and done here – they’ve all been such special sources of inspiration. This one is my most recent song, which I wrote over the past few days (and recorded yesterday!) in Byron Bay, a little remote beach town that happens to be a backpackers’ music haven on the east coast of Oz. This song is by no means comprehensive of everything I'd like to say, but you can only put so much in one song. I'm glad to share this song with you and send my love to those back at home from the other side of the world. ☺
