I first heard this song on episode 2 of the Small Axe series, "Lovers Rock." It's a beautiful song that gives me chills when I'm listening to it.

Silly Games released in 1979 reached the top of the pop charts in the UK, gaining  Janet Kay a place in the Music Guiness Book of Records as the the first british black female reggae artist to hit the top of the UK pop charts.

'Imagine That' was released in 1979 and appeared on Janet Kay's first album entitled 'Capricorn Woman' (later renamed Silly Games).  This track was written by Janet Kay and she appeared in the cult movie 'Burning An Illusion' in the club scene performing this track back in 1981.

Janet Kay was born in North West London, of Jamaican parentage. Her career took off when she  recorded  a reggae cover of Minnie Ripperton's track, "Lovin' You" (produced by the Late Alton Ellis) which became a number one hit in the UK reggae charts in 1977. Janet recorded several other hits in the following 2 years.  In 1979, "Silly Games" (produced by Dennis Bovell) became a hit in not only the UK, but also in Europe.  Janet has been recorded in the Music Guinness Book of Records, as the first British black female reggae artist to have a reggae song at the top of the UK Pop charts. Janet appeared on BBC Television's Top of the Pops several times. 

Janet was also one of the creators and main characters (Angel) in the cast of the cult television sitcom  ‘No Problem’! (1981 - 1985) and has also made many other stage, TV and screen appearances.

In 1993 Janet had a No. 1 hit in Japan with, ironically “Lovin’ You” which she had re-recorded.  This was one of the tracks that sparked the reggae boom in Japan in the early 90’s.  Sony Music Japan signed Janet to their label where she had a string of hits in Japan and recorded 6 albums for them between 1993 and 2003.

Recently, Janet along side Victor Romero Evans and Carroll Thompson have been touring their successful hit show 'The Lovers Rock Monologues' in theatres around the UK.
