Ever Since I've got back to Sydney, I've left playing music on the back burner! The music scene here is kinda pathetic:P All the old clubs have been shut down & have turned the scene into glitzy glam lounge bar s#*t, playing commercial hip hop & cheesy dance music!(NOT even House music!)I've finally spared some time to record a session for my own enjoyment! Thought I might share it with everyone:) 

Janstar's Sydney Minimal-Techno Session

It's a remix I did a few months back when I just got into experimental stage with music production, it was alot of cut up pieces of vocals & did alot of manual volume adjustment....so when I was not happy with some of the sounds, it was difficult to re-arrange!:P

DJ Janstar Remix-What's love got to do with it

A final draft of my latest track I've been working on, but will be able to develop & master the final sound after getting at least a maschine or drum pads!:)

I wrote out the drum beats, keys & synths & bass sounds using Ableton, cutting vocal samples from various hip Hop materials I had in my itunes, then added some sample effects then tweaked around with the sounds using instrument effect units to change the dynamic of sounds throughout the track....my resources are limited but taking longer time I am able to achieve a lot of the sounds I wanted playing with different resources in Ableton!
