Björn Torwellen LIVE @ Uptown Record Vinyl Bus (URVB)

This month we have label’s head Octave back in the show with a new live set freshly recorded the previous weekend at the famous Frankfurter venue Tanzhaus West where he played for the Hotel Digital crew.

Octave has been very busy in the studio the last months and apart of having three new remixes and an original track out these days, he is about to launch his new alias Vlasyin which is a hardware oriented live project. The remixes was made for Mick Finesse on Silent Steps, Mind Machines on Green Fetish Records and Morgan Tomas on Reloading Records, each time along with other remixes respectively from Eomac, Paul Birken and Drumcell, Truncate and Yan Cook. The new original track can’t really be called an original as it is part of a project where four artists recorded their own samples then to share the whole package with everyone to each make a track. So it is kind of half-way between an original track and a remix. This very special project will be released on new label Cast, on vinyl, and features other works from Brendon Moeller aka The Echologist, Morgan Tomas and Guise.

More news are to be announced soon with new releases including a new own EP. Also, you can catch him play in the next months in Amsterdam, Skopje, Belgrade, Frankfurt, Stuttgart or even Paris. 2015 doesn’t look like a year to rest for Octave.
But for now, you can listen to his intense (as the crowd was) 105 minute live set.
