Janice Vidal is a Filipino American singer and painter. Raised in Moreno Valley California she found her love for singing while performing at Disney Magic Music Days with the Canyon Springs High School choir. Janice continued to harness her singing skills and vocal ability by performing at different family functions, local events, and competing in countless karaoke contests throughout her city. She uses music as an outlet for her soul and a way to inspire and share her story with the world. In this past year she has really got to know her heart, her soul, her strength, and her spirit unfortunately, It had to be discovered through painful tragedies and emotional heartbreaks. She was with a man that she had known since she was 20 and after the ups and downs, arguements and fights, and other struggles in the relationship she finally decided to walk away after 13 years to find happiness for herself. A few months after seperating her mother who she had sat in the hospital with night after night praying to be okay passed away due to cancer. The song she was working on for her mom was played at the funeral unfortunately that was the only time her mother got to hear it. Since then she has been working 2 jobs to the bone trying to keep her mothers house, taking care of debt, keep up with her own bills, still coping with moving on from marriage, holding her family together, and still pushing with all her heart on pursing her dreams as a singer. Her album titled “Intervention” tells her story of trials, tribulations, and triumphs through soothing melodies over many different genres of music from soul to rhythm and blues, alternative rock to country, adult contemporary, classical, and pop. She is a rising star with an inspiring testimony and a mixture of music and international appeal to capture the hearts of the world.
