I love Katie's mixtape because it swells and recedes, dynamically, taking turns from the commandeering, to the playful, the melancholic, to the pensive, almost on a dime, as if you are running to catch up with the change in emotion, which, in my opinion, is truly a Korean narrative if there was one.

eejungmi is the solo electronic project of Katie Lee, currently based in Toronto, ON. As a creator in both architecture and music, Katie approaches her work with an interdisciplinary understanding of sound and space to communicate her emotional explorations. Her most recent project, which explores rituals surrounding grief through daily audio and visual documentation of Toronto's Humber River, is the inspiration for her upcoming debut album. She has previously released an EP titled Contribution and has performed and released work with various musical projects. Katie’s mixes are an important extension and footnote to her own music.
