"Already There" is a song I wrote about finding a person who you can just enjoy spending time with. You dont need money, you don't need expensive things or exotic places. You can be completely content and excited just being around this person. As far as the music, I started with a simple reggae type guitar riff and built from there with a deep synth bass line and some pop drums. Add on some harmonies and a chanty bridge and there you go. :)

I really liked the sound and melody from Drakes new song "The Motion".. but it just seemed like it was missing something, so I added some ambient drums, deep 808 trap bass, some old strings and classic piano to give it a more epic sound. And then finished Drakes 16's (Cause he only rapped 8). Hope you enjoy! :)

Heard this cool song on the oldies station the other day, "Fried Neckbones & Some Home Fries" by Willie Bobo. Loved the melodies. Reminded me a lot of "Murder Was The Case" by Snoop. So I sampled it, along with Santana's live version of the same song. Threw some Timbaland-ish drums on it. Deep 808 Bass. And then recruited my good friend Hatch (@HatchWiseGuy on Twitter) to bless it with a verse. Being "Bout Dat Life" is just being down for whatever is thrown your way. Yep. I'm a Selena Gomez fan. And I thought this track (B.E.A.T.) off of her "Stars Dance" album would be fun to Remix. Fun Story. I remixed and recorded the whole song in a couple hours today and when I was mixing it, Ableton glitched and I lost EVERYTHING!! So I had to redo it. So I literally remixed, wrote and recorded this song TWICE in one day. :)

So i combined the two and then added my own production to it as well.

I wanted to cover my second fav song from my first fav rapper DJ Quik. He is amazing and has always been ahead of his time. This is a cover of DJ Quik's song "Sexuality" from his 2000 album "Balance And Options".. This song is the definition of what created me as a rapper. Once I heard this, I realized that I didn't have to rap about thug shit or killin n*ggas.. He showed me that it was possible to combine pop and rap music and that I could rap about smooth shit and parties and girls and stuff and still be cool like DJ Quik.. He is truly my biggest inspiration..  :)

The original song is by DJ Quik. But this version, I produced myself. No samples.

I wanted to do a song inspired by movie trailers.. And this is what I came up with. And since my favorite franchise (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) is coming out with a new movie TOMORROW (August 8, 2014), I kind of based the subject matter on that. But its very loosely based on it, I tried to make it open enough to fit with many different trailer ideas.. No samples in the beat. All original. I don't even really know how to explain the beat.. I just tried to go with a big sound. Movie score epicness.

Sampled that shit, laid down some snap drums, had ScratchRemixer throw some vinyl on it,  screamed some lyrics and BAM! Music! Song is about always being the weirdo in the room..
