The latest compilation album in COD3 QR's "Artist Cod3" series is, as always, focused on eclecticism, open-mindedness, divergence and non-conformity.  The usual wide range of electronic music is featured with Drum & Bass don Calibre opening up the release with Dub, followed by Techno from Seroplexx and Costello, a more Detroit style vibe from Jim Rivers, Deep House from Subground_3000, while Marcellus, and Melatron & Ancient Artefacts complete the vinyl package with Leftfield beats.   

Bonus digital tracks come from Subground_3000 once more, plus some melodious Techno from Oliver Way & Dany Rodriguez.

All the tracks have been handpicked by Laurent Garnier and Scan X.

I won’t be able to say too much about Alloy as it is a project from the past from a member of my favorite band coming from Toronto. If you go look for my Boiler Room Brussels session on Youtube, it is the first track I play and I might give you a clue, listen close.  You have no idea how many times I’ve been asked for the track id of this tune.

“My Friends Make Music Too" is a collaboration between Serato and Lefto dropping on Valentine's day (February 14).  It contains dancefloor ready tracks for deejays who don’t play the obvious bangers.  
All productions are exclusive to this project and I am really happy I can share my friends' great productions with you.

Debuting on Rekids, Laurent Garnier & Chambray collaborate for a colossal single entitled ‘Feelin’ Good’ featuring two outstanding remixes from label owner Radio Slave.

Having supported Rekids for many years in his sets across the globe, it only made sense for Laurent Garnier to drop one of his finest productions to date on the label. Although the legendary Frenchman has kept busy producing movie soundtracks (‘Paris Est A Nous’) and remixes in recent years, this is his first full release since 2017. He’s joined in the studio by Chambray, a Berlin-based producer known for releasing on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown and Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic.

Opening with sporadic battle cries, stabbing claps and powerful bass sequences before rapturous piano melodies come into effect – ‘Feelin’ Good’ is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest tracks. On the flip, Radio Slave assembles two contrasting remixes that do just as much damage: the first is an atmospheric
number that marches forward using precision kicks, rattling percussion and rising pads, whilst the ‘Revenge Mix’ cranks things up a notch with its crunchy breaks before introducing the original’s blissful keys.
