A little dive in the psyche of Jante Alliage, Beatrice and Joseph3000, as a result from the encounter Jan Loup and them had in Strasbourg. Through the informal interview and discussions, the guests start talking about their personal imagery, self-told stories, life methods and others artefacts of the mind, which eventually shape their creations. Their visions are combined altogether along with a selection of dreamy ambient music.

MANA-MACHINE 006 Histoire Qui Tiens Les Corps

Des festivals, ont eu des moments ultimes, des concentrations de joie ineffables, des fous rires qu’on ne peut en compter. Mais de ces instants que reste t-il vraiment? Que valent vraiment ces bribes de souvenirs? Était-ce vraiment réel? Est-ce important? Y’a t’il quelque chose à retenir? Que reste t’il de l’été?

Deux heures durant on retrace la tournée des festi, ou ce qu’il en reste. Les musiques qui ont eu lieu, quelques ombres de péripéties, quelques images. Peu de chose, juste une carte postal de la liesse, des accolades, et de l’ivresse estivale.

In the artist's words : 

For those two hours i rly wanted to embrace the picture a glaoting fairies-goblins complete cycle party, imagining the rite would happen in a flowery clearing deep in the middle of a giant firs forest, where those feisty creatures would then ingest some fine nuts and ravishing mushroom and start the ball by giggling swinging hovering around, until the hit arrives and the dance become more frenetic as they progressively mutate into forest parts into soil and roots and bushes, slowly loosing their contour to be part of the whole. The climax would be complete fusion, returning to being particules of the mole, flirting with univers laws, atomic gangbang. Then gently the rite wraps up as they return to their bodies, ultimate shapeshifters, fulfilled from the feeling of shortly having been together one. Return the energy to the ground and the life takes delightfully back its course

Brixton Soup Kitchen offers support to the homeless and in need, and relies heavily on donations to sustain their work. They provide invaluable relief to a community hugely impacted by the virus, as well as a homeless population forced back onto the streets since the temporary housing provided came to an end. As normality resumes, the chance of another wave of cases and another inadequate response from our government grows. This along with the huge number of people already suffering from the economic impact of the virus means organisations like B.S.K. are now more important than ever.

MANA-MACHINE 001 Vas mon enfant, dors mon cheval

This track is a work of collab with the artist Charlotte Dalia (which is also a dear friend of mine). For her solo show “The fury of my own momentum” in Lyon, she needed a sound piece as a part of her immersive installation. 
We had numerous exchanges about what audio experience we wanted in regard to her piece and what emotions could be triggered from sounds, what magic could be made of it. This track called “LOST LYRICS” is the result of our discussions based on her poem "Apocalypsing" about love, hope, movement, times, events and narratives. 
"LOST LYRICS" is an apocalyptic song, filled with reminiscence of death and echoes of hopes. It's a party from some place elsewhere, a light in the night embracing darkness. It’s an invitation to make a move.
