Journey to the Electronix

This arrangement is a Tribute to the composer John Murphy  and emphasises the emotional impressions, as seen from high up in the atmosphere, of the Sun rising behind earth.
I used electronic sounds and effects behind the the electric piano, guitar and voices.
Sheet music from Musicnotes for piano, basic arrangement by Laurie Théberge and rearranged to accomodate sounds, effects and voices.

It will probably be the only piece I ever compose in my life because I’m not a musician and I believe I lack many of the qualities and virtues to be one. So, don’t expect much from me. Still, thank you for your support and for sharing.

🎧 🎹 This is a short piece for piano that started as an experiment and gradually took shape. In memory of the woman whose love and sacrifice made me the man I am—my mother 🌸

🎶 I will forever cherish the memory of her immense happiness in learning a short passage from Beethoven's *Ode to Joy* on the piano. Every night, before going to sleep, she would play those simple yet heartfelt notes. *Alma Edilma* is also a heartfelt tribute to a woman whose essence touched so many hearts 💗❤️💗

Probablemente será la única pieza que componga en mi vida, porque no soy músico y creo que me faltan muchas de las cualidades y virtudes para serlo. Así que no esperen mucho de mí. Aun así, gracias por su apoyo y por compartir.

Jumping Toads:
Once upon a time in a remote forest, far away from humans, there was a community of toads who shared an extraordinary hobby: They loved to jump to the rhythm of electronic music. Every evening, they gathered by the edge of a small pond where they had installed a hidden stereo system.
The toads started with a slow beat as they moved in circles slowly. Their skins shimmered in the light of the stars, and their movements became more energetic with every beat. When the bass kicked in, they jumped higher and wilder, as if dancing in the air.
In the midst of the pond, they formed a pulsating circle, synchronized with the music. Some toads even performed acrobatic jumps and spins, while others simply swayed to the beat. It was a true spectacle of nature.
The nights passed, and the toads danced until dawn. They savored every moment spent together, in harmony with the music and the nature surrounding them. For them, there was nothing more beautiful than jumping together and having fun.

a lovely chant sung to lure someone to ruin; but even without the bad secondary meaning, since the Sirens also appear according to old concepts as singers of melting songs in the noble sense of the word, a beautiful, lovely song.

I want to reiterate Josh's comments in the write up below... this project was the first time I'd met John and after some emails and watching some of his videos on YouTube I'm super impressed with his guitar skills.  He has mastered the LZ catalog from what I can tell. His playing has the vibe and attitude of Jimmy Page and that's not an easy thing to do.   Hope you enjoy his playing as much as I have!

This song actually began more than a year ago, when Ken and Josh were just sniffing each other out. They'd been working on Zeppelin's Night Flight, for those of you who remember that long ago, and Josh was having trouble with latency in his recording. Out of frustration, he recorded a really rough version of this, to which Ken put really amazingly perfect drums. Shortly after, he got his recording issues settled and they continued on with Night Flight, shelving this half baked creature for more than a year. But it wasn't forgotten. 

  (Josh) In the meantime, I'd been following John Anthony on both YouTube (https://youtube.com/@johnanthony5720?si=-ooQcUUQaemrk-NH) and on the Cloud. If you were ever curious about how Jimmy Page's fingers looked in the studio, do yourself a favor and check him out on there, too. Anyway, since he can play literally every Zep song note for note, I figured I'd ask him if he would replace my pitiful by comparison guitar part with his own. He not only did that in numerous sections, as Page would've, but played the mandolin for it, too. Now, we had a song that was almost ready, but of course we needed someone to fill Plant's part. So, of course we asked The Mysterious Decibel if he'd do the honors, which he came through with in grand fashion. 
  
Now that the song was done, we needed it to be mixed, too. So, we tapped our resident mixing expert, Stephen to do that for us. It was a surprisingly difficult mix to get everyone to agree on. And there were philosophical questions that arose during the mixing process, too. We're very lucky, though, that Stephen is not only an expert producer, but a great teammate as well, with the patience of your favorite high school teacher. 

Anyway, our hope is that we did the almighty Led Zeppelin honor with this one. We hope you all enjoy our reverent tribute to one of our collective favorites as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

Once upon a time in a distant land called Synthiopia, where people lived in harmony with music. But one day something extraordinary happened. A wise musician named The Master of Electronix created a synthesizer of unparalleled beauty and power.

This synthesizer was no ordinary instrument. It could produce sounds that touched the hearts of people like never before. The Master of Electronix played on the synthesizer and his melodies filled the air with a magic that changed the world.

The people of Synthiopia were fascinated by this new instrument. They listened as the synthesizer produced tones of incredible variety and depth. Soon, they began to compose their own songs and tell their stories with the help of this wonder instrument.

The world of music was never the same. The synthesizer found its way into every corner of Synthiopia and beyond. Its sounds were heard in the palaces of kings and in the cottages of peasants. People danced to its music and felt more alive than ever before.

But the greatest triumph of the synthesizer came when it conquered the hearts of people in other lands. Its melodies traveled across oceans and mountains, touching the souls of those who heard them. Soon, the synthesizer was no longer just an instrument of Synthiopia, but a treasure of the whole world.

And so the synthesizer lived on forever, its sounds continuing to unite people and fill the world with its magic.
