James West is currently one of the freshest and fastest emerging young talents, to come out of the UK trance scene. Inspired by the legendary Tribe of Frog parties in Bristol where he grew up, 10 years later he is pushing his own vision on what is psychedelic. Refining his productions in between touring and taking inspiration from parties all over the world has been a pleasure. It is now time for the next chapter, with the release of his debut album ‘Home’.

This set features a selection of tracks from the album, as well as some bangers from James’ favourite artists.

This Looney Moon episode features RADIKAL MOODZ with new "radikal moodz" played during his South America tour. Radikal Moodz is a Twilight Psytrance project. After releases on multiple labels such as Maharetta, Sangoma or Mosaico, Radical Moodz signed on to the famous Looney Moon Records, releasing his first EP “Strange Journey” which immediately seduced the scene. After playing worldwide, his second EP came out called “Inertia”, with collaboration track with Ingrained Instinct , Shenanigan and Wood Warden. Now he has released his debut album called "Initial Dreamers" where all the inspiration from the beginning takes place in a psychedelic journey full of groove, peaks and smiles.

This episode Sonic Loom features BIOPHOTONS and his "Moral Compass" EP presentation. Biophotons is the solo project of Mike D., coming from Athens, Greece. Mike’s initiation into psychedelic music came in 2007, when he started attending parties and festivals around Europe. His interest grew into a productive engagement with this music, which culminated in the conception of the Biophotons project. Since then Mike has released several tracks in various labels, as well as his first EP: “Going Through the Motions”, on Urban Antidote Records. Meanwhile Mike has performed around the globe, using his experiences in the dancefloor of life as the inspiration for his unique brand of psychedelic soundform. After joining the Sonic Loom family in 2021, Mike develops his ideas into even more adventurous directions. This live set contains the upcoming EP from Biophotons, "Moral Compass". Janux, one of the founders of Sola Luna Festival, rises from the original Goa scene from the early 1980's, where he was part of the early roots of the Psytrance family. He finally started DJing in 1998, and is signed with Looney Moon Records since 2014. (and previously with Third Eye Records & Mechanik Records) 

Janux ::the name comes from 'Janus', a mythical Roman god who has two faces: one dark, one light - one looking into the past, one looking into the future.

Janux is a night & twilight specialist, and a powerful Dj who can read any situation and play the perfect vibe for that space & time. Janux's style ranges from high energy trippy night music, to magical twilight, to strong & psychedelic morning sounds. His high energy performances packed full with killer mixing, sorcery, and dance power, transform the party into a powerful entity. 

His roots in music started in the mid 80's in Goa where he was a kid experiencing the early roots of the trance scene, and being in Goa every season for most of his life, and has also lived in Denmark, USA, London, Amsterdam, Bombay, and Goa. He has been DJing since 1998. 

Janux has played at parties and festivals all over the world including Boom Festival 2016, Ozora 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, Antaris 2015, 2016, 2023, Free Earth 2019, 2023, 2024, Sola Luna 2025, Modem 2016, Hadra 2014, Universal Religion, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, Tree of Life 2014, Hilltop Festival 2014, 2015, 2021, 2022, 2023, Jungle Calling Festival @ Origens, WAO Festival 2015, Human Evolution 2015, Landjuweel Festival, 2018, 2022, 2023, 2024,  Hilltop NYE more than 10 times from 2003 till 2023.

His Dj journey has put him behind the decks in NYC (where he started the Dj collective & party org. called “Sound Species”), Portugal, Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Italy, Germany, Hungary, France, Oslo, Turkey, Greece, Croatia, Nepal, Thailand, GOA (Hilltop, ShivaValley, Dream Beach, Origens, Pinakin, Chronicle, 9 Bar, Curlies, UV Bar, Bamboo Forest, Disco Valley), and many other places in India (Bombay, Bangalore, Delhi, Calcutta, Madras, Pune, Nasik) 

Janux hosted all the big psytrance parties that happen in Bombay, where he was the head of music programming at the legendary Blue Frog, the only club in India that did regular Psy nights with domestic & international artists. (and also various other electronic genres, and live bands across multiple genres as well)

Janux has also opened Goa’s first professional music production & recording studio.
