His niche is Hard Techno with dark and industrial elements, but he is also an enthusiast of old-school techno and does not hide his secret love for schranz. Having moved around a lot, he gets most of his inspiration from abroad - mainly the German and the Dutch scene, where he began his journey with electronic music.

She recorded her podcasts for labels such as Belgian Rave Alert, Ukrainian ОБСКУРА or Polish Miejsca w techno, gdzie. In her sets she explores different edges of hard dance music, combining hard hitting techno, euphoric and uplifting trance with playful sounds of hard house. Simultaneously her sets are spiced up with ravey classics, ghetto or pop tracks.

Japaus passion for techno flared up in 2013 when he accidentally ended up at a techno party in Berlin's famous "Arena Club". He was immediately infected and since then, techno has been an integral part of his life and he can no longer imagine life without it. His fascination with DJing reached its peak after countless nights of partying, when Japau bought his first own controller - a Pioneer DDJ-400 in 2019.

JAPAUs passion for techno flared up in 2013 when he accidentally ended up at a techno party in Berlin's famous "Arena Club". He never intended to start making music himself, he was just a passionate listener. 
But then one day in 2019, a friend brought over a controller, and he gave it a try.

From that moment on, he was completely hooked.

Since 2025, he has also started producing tracks to further shape the style he wants to pursue.
