The fifth episode of MMD Radio features Between Us, a young DJ and producer  who has entered the electronic music scene within the last year. Also known as Lydon, he began DJing in 2024 and has recently started producing original tracks, with five months of studio experience under his belt.

His journey into music began with hesitation. Initially unsure about pursuing DJing, he enrolled in a course led by Carl Lautier, a well-known figure in the Maltese scene. The course helped him gain confidence and sparked a deeper commitment to the craft.

Since then, Between Us has secured regular slots at local venues including Beatz, Honeymoon, Hugo Lounge, and Oscillate. His sets typically focus on tech house, a genre that also shapes his production work.

The mix presented for MMD Radio runs for 1 hour and 15 minutes and includes five unreleased original tracks—Dirthy South, Defected, Remain Calm, Latina, and Ay Papi. One of these tracks, Nokia, is being released alongside the episode as a free download on SoundCloud. The mix also features selections from artists such as Franky Rizardo, Cassimm, and unreleased tracks from Romanian producer Dyavo.

This episode offers a snapshot of an emerging artist in the early stages of his career, building a sound that merges local influence with global tech house trends.
