reflections became parallel echoes and turned into something very different. i saved a little of it, just for old times sake. replete with that funky little joke horn we couldn't bring ourselves to finish off. that little bit turned back into reflections and became this over the course of 4 or 5 years, the last few of which were spent endlessly prodding and agonizing fruitlessly until towards the very final end it finally tumbled together.

thanks patrick (RIP) for laying down the beats. there's only 3 left after this and it feels both sad and good to finish one up.
