I'm in the midst of tracking this and another piece I'm really digging called "Look" that I finally finished penning a few weeks back. There's a lot more to go along with this song, but I'm really excited about it and I want people to hear it as is until I get everything tracked and mixed. Hope you enjoy it.

A Timely Incision (acoustic demo)

After spending about a year in a fiery love with Steven Ellison's (Flying Lotus)rap alter-ego endeavor, I finally began to find ways to channel his influence on me into my music. This is a /very/ early example, as everything I'm working on in this vain is still all in-progress and underdeveloped.

Fun fact: the sample in this piece (which is significantly altered via pitch shifting, among other effects processing) is taken from a three-part suite titled "Sabbatt" from Cortex, the same sample used by Ellison in one of the first tracks from his debut release under the Captain Murphy moniker.

ALSO - the title is awful because I have no idea where I'm taking this thing yet, or what to call it.

Here's something I've been working on for a while. Lots of fun augmented chords and vocals to fit. I'll definitely be piecing the rest of this together soon.

Easy Start (early draft - recorded on 5.24.14)

This is the first time I've used my TASCAM console in over a year, so I've been getting back in the hang of it. Also, it's hard to pick up on, but I've experimented for the first a bit with harmony in melody with this. Hoping to really implement it with the song once I have the rest written out. Lost and Free (Early Demo)

So, I finally got this done. Legitimately, multi-tracked, harmonized, mixed, so on and so forth. I'm happy with it. I feel like my vocals in the first verse were a bit weak, but if I get caught up in all of that, I'll never be done with anything I write and record. So, it is as it is. Hope it inspires, and makes a movement in at least a few people out there. Please do give feedback! Love to hear what people are feeling with what I'm doing. It helps to progress. Peace and love.

Feels Like Home

I've just recently learned "Hallelujah" (the original Leonard Cohen version), and I've been intent to record a full cover of it, which will likely be a duet. However, I was spending time with my sister, and playing what I could remember at the moment for her, when she suggested I record a quick attempt on the spot to post. I could only recall the first two verses, unfortunately. But, here's my one-off attempt.

This is for my sister. It was written, recorded and mixed in a single all-nighter, so it's not my most complex piece by any means, but is holds a lot of emotional significance for me.

A very different piece from what I've been writing lately. I like to call it industrial pop. This is the most I've put into a song so far, in terms of layering and production. I'm hoping a few people out there find it appealing.

Life for me always comes back to two things; love and music. Both equals. I may not be fantastic, and I may not have the best writing ability. But these songs are the show of my progress as a human. Take them as you will, and hopefully, you'll find yourself somewhere in them.
