I recently saw a documentary called, "Throw Down Your Heart" with Bela Fleck. An amazing journey to discover the roots of the banjo. Since then, I have been on a big African music kick. This is a piece I wrote from the inspiration I've received..

A few years ago I was house sitting for a musician friend of mine. During that time I was living at home with my parents and the thought of having a place of my own for a summer month was more than awesome. I managed to set up some new studio equipment and spent most of the time getting the hang of Logic Pro and just enjoying my freedom in my own creative space. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I was clearing out space from my computer (for some new software - Thanks again Anthony) and I stumbled upon an old track that I produced at the apartment that summer. This particular track I spent most of the time working on. When looking at the project I realized how I had only limited recording knowledge at the time and it showed in my mixing. I revived the project and did a complete remix and master of the track. I wanted to share the finish product with you. The music I create and share varies in flavor and I appreciate all the support on my musical journey with you all!
