The most lyrical, moody and experimental track in the Valor soundtrack, and then a cello solo.  (It leads to a faster more adventurous song (to come) that further emphasizes a contrast from the night.)

Sometimes I wonder about the trade-off between making art that is highly lyrical and makes specific points, versus art that is pleasing, euphonic and entrancing.  I have always imagined of doing the latter, although this (until 3:10) feels very much like the former, like an uncomfortably restless but meaningful dream, and for this track, I don't mind.

Listening to this song reminds me of that moment during an all-nighter when I feel like I have woken from a kind of waking nap and to my mind it has become the next day.  In the context of the soundtrack, I imagine leaders don't have the luxury of a restful sleep when they are about to put their army in harm's way the next morning.

06 Battle Array [Draft 23]

I have always wanted to compose music.  I love soundtracks from movies, tv, and games, and that's what I'm focusing on right now, though I'd love to create several kinds of music.  I am new at this and having fun while still learning a lot!  Hopefully I can eventually put something here you can enjoy too!
