@jean-vayat is a DJ producer from Kyiv, Ukraine, currently based in LA, US. He started his DJ career in early 2000. Since then, his passion for music has led him to perform at numerous venues and Festivals, such as the White Nights festival in Kyiv in 2018 and 2019, De Sad River Rave, Heaven Club, Kvartira 54, and many others.
The desire to evolve and produce has gradually transformed into the writing of his own tracks. It was not difficult to find the perfect sound, as Jean was always drawn to oriental motifs. So in 2018 he had his first release on Sol Selectas. This was followed by releases on Katermukke, Harabe Records, Shango Records, Dear Deer, Art Vibes, Go Deeva, and others. A unique way of combining house music and oriental sounds has become artist's trademark. Born in Naples(Italy)January 1st,1979.He grew up with music at the age of 6 listening to his father's vinyl records. At the age of 15 already started playing as dj with turntables in little clubs of the city.In the past he has been influenced by 70's disco music and house music to techno music with melodic lines.He doesn't like to be put into a specific musical genre.
He played in 2014 at Pacha Hammamet, 65mq in Milan and in many clubs of his city, In 2017 he played in front of thousands of people for his city's New Year's Eve.He worked for 13 years in a famous city radio as selector and sound engineer.In 2020 he began his journey as a music producer.

With his dynamic sound and unwavering dedication to his craft, he released music on labels such as Katermukke, Einmusika, UV, Beatfreak, UGENIUS, Deep Tales, Steyoyoke, Natura Viva, Harabe and Freegrant Music.

Jares' music is a reflection of his personal journey, and he aims to connect with his audience on a deeper level through his emotionally charged performances.  His work enabled him to showcase his sounds in Canada's finest clubs including the world-renowned Stereo Afterhours, as well as playing alongside legends like Oliver Koletzki, Eli & Fur, Franky Wah, Hannes Bieger, Miss Monique, Soul Button, Korolova, Henry Saiz and Dosem.
