Several layers of a Nord 2 through chorus units. Also used a TC M350's delay and reverb. Added a layer of tube preamp noise for contrast. Szelest -   One Day with Ayn Rand  -  |"Tension with no solutin"|  (2022)

Ok, I know Ayn Rand is a controversial persona, but I don't care and I think of her as the philosophy of our time, so here you have a recording with an sampled interview 60 ', surprisingly Ayn Rand composes perfectly with slow guitar, experimental sounds and ambient soundscape. For my this track is particularly important because the time when it was composed I did struggle with many low mental states, and no will to live was by my side. I've tried to encapsulat this days into this composition, I hope you will find sth interesting in this complex soundscape.

With a third of the year already gone by, the so-called pandemic has quietly dropped out from the main media news, but more worrying is the war continuing in Ukraine with no end in sight.
As you know, we’ve supported Ukraine & Russian musicians with no malice to the latter, any music from them kept out of the politics of this war.
The lineup for this edition is mostly names that have appeared before on Sequences, except for Alpha Romeo’s sublime mixes of retro synth urban vibes with quality production.  Beatless mixtures of treated guitar and electronics inspired by nature and effects treatments by Trem 77.  On Tone Science no 7 are modular synthesists Andrew Ostler, three aspects of drones sequences & audio processing, with Dark Sparkler creating a stormy shipwreck of a patch with siren calls & turbulent water., finally Shajan on the relaxing subtle and multi-faceted music from another excellent compilation from BSC Music.
The vintage track comes from the prolific German experimental musician Conrad Schnitzler associated with West Germany's Kraut rock movement, who joined Tangerine Dream for their debut album Electronic Meditation in 1970 and the founder of the band Kluster. Conrad passed away in 2011.
