This track is about the journey you take to achieve your goals. It's about enjoying the journey because the destination is never the end. You achieve one goal and then there is always another. 
I am 16 and have been writing my own songs for four years. I wrote the score and lyrics for this track and recorded it on a Mac Book with my own vocals. 
I am developing my sound at the moment but heavily influenced by R&B / Jazz Music.

Not physical loss but someone who’s going through a tough time and switches off; not able to talk any more.  
The line ‘I will sit with you in the dark’ refers to listening to someone and trying to understand their feelings. It’s about people who can’t be present.
