This track was written for my daughter in 2020.  She and her mother went back to the UK in 2019, and with Covid hitting, I wasn't able to see her for 18 months. This was for her 7th birthday.

The track has been recorded specially to mark the 20th anniversary of U2's album Achtung Baby. You can listen to other tracks from the album covered by the likes of Jack White, Damien Rice, The Killers and Nine Inch Nails  by buying this month's Q magazine.

EXCERPTS FROM RATTLE AND HUM (PROMO)
Released to promote both the album Rattle and Hum and the movie of the same name.  This promo featured three live tracks that were featured in the movie but which were not featured on the album.  The other two tracks are the album versions of God Part II and Hawkmoon 269.

U2- With Or Without You (Live at Tempe, AZ - December 20, 1987)

2nd go at U2's Beautiful Day, using Pod HD500 for all FX, Tech 21 LIverpool for amps. Used the DTS SDD-3KP on the verse, OD and pitch shifted parts this time, a bit less drive plus a few changes to delay mod settings and mixes. This one is not 100% live - I made preset changes and recorded them - if I liked the sound in the mix, that part went in. The entire end from "See the..." and OD section is live though.
