What's harder though is summoning the strength to tell them to leave and then... trying to get over the hurt and the pain. This song reflects on those emotions. I know that y'all prefer happier, more upbeat songs, but life isn't always happy and upbeat. If it were, we wouldn't ever realize it!

Released to promote both the album Rattle and Hum and the movie of the same name.  This promo featured three live tracks that were featured in the movie but which were not featured on the album.  The other two tracks are the album versions of God Part II and Hawkmoon 269.

U2- With Or Without You (Live at Tempe, AZ - December 20, 1987)

2nd go at U2's Beautiful Day, using Pod HD500 for all FX, Tech 21 LIverpool for amps. Used the DTS SDD-3KP on the verse, OD and pitch shifted parts this time, a bit less drive plus a few changes to delay mod settings and mixes. This one is not 100% live - I made preset changes and recorded them - if I liked the sound in the mix, that part went in. The entire end from "See the..." and OD section is live though.
