This is a rough draft of a song I wrote back in 2019. It got recorded a couple times, but the engineers that worked on it never really WORKED on it. So i re-recorded it and mixed it on my own. This is a passion project, but I will not be coming back to this draft on my own anytime soon. Maybe with professional help, but this may be a soundcloud exclusive until that day.

I moved to Virginia to avoid gang violence, but now I can't avoid all this police brutality! I, as well as quite a few others were tear gassed multiple times at a peaceful protest on june 2nd, an entire half hour prior to curfew.. There was no cause for what would later be deemed as excessive violence, as I have video footage of police firing into the crowds from across the field. My people got tear gassed again this weekend, while I was busy working on my own damn brand. I feel ashamed. you can tell by the lyrics that I've been sitting on this for a minute. Part of me want's to keep waiting for the right time to drop it, but another part of me thinks now is the time. What do you think?
