I started writing this song a few years ago when I was going through a period of isolation due to feeling a bit overwhelmed by society and how I became a little too comfortable in discomfort and how It felt difficult to motivate myself to escape from what became a repetitive cycle. I finally finished the track a week ago and It's definitely one of my personal favourites that I've written.

I'm living in exile from civilization
And though It isn't far
I travel the no mans land in rotation
I sank into my shell
And I've never called anyone for help
But now within myself 
I feel I'm drowning, reaching out for air 
From the cold

With my bleeding hands
I'm ripping at the wall
And still it stands while I fall

Screaming, never believing I'll regain anything I've lost
Ignoring every warning I would end up on my own
Now I'm forced to face the result of my actions
I know this is my fault
So I'll swallow the pride
And no longer deny what I've done
Now It's me I have to confront

I roam around the halls 
Walking miles as I'm pacing back and forth
I tremble in the frost 
With weary lungs as my heart beats in my throat
And all that is warm is my breath
As I breathe in this smoke 
I fade out, I run circles in the fog

Then my racing thoughts start screaming out
For their rest to come
For an ending to this cycle
