Die Clubs schließen nach und nach wieder die Türen, zur Überbrückung gibt es deshalb einen neuen Grauzone Podcast, in dieser Ausgabe mit mit dem Karlsruher DJ Third Purser.  

Nach Auftritten im Gotec Club, Culteum und Connex in Mannheim, liefert uns Third Purser das, was er am besten kann: Er etabliert einen Groove, dem der Körper nicht widerstehen kann, und baut ihn über 90 Minuten lang langsam aus. Gekonnt fädelt er alle Aspekte seines Sound zusammen - groovige Drums, schleichende Synthies und solide Basslines. Jedes dieser Elemente wird durch seine eigene Brille betrachtet und mit fesselnder Energie serviert, inspiriert von Detroit-Techno, UK-Rave, Jungle und Trance.

For a last time, the entire WALL MUSIC family reunited at WALLS to celebrate 6 Years of this great label.

In the 90’s Mike Wall made his first experiences with electronic music. In these years, he started mixing tapes and playing his first gigs in the East Germany. But he released under the name Mike Wall for the first time on the record label Modulat in 2005, and since then things started looking up for him.
In the same year, he played at the legendary Melt Festival! and refurnished his studio. These changes brought a fresh wind in his EP’s like “Loose Changes” or “She Comes” and let his productions seem much more smooth and warm. He is known over the border of Germany for the variety in his sets, because even listeners in Italy, Spain, Greece, Austria and Switzerland, USA, Russia and more…. were very enthusiastic about his dynamic sounds.
In 2006, his debut vinyl was released on the London minimal label named “Safari Electronique”, which is home to very talented producers such as Italoboyz, Delete and Arnaud le Textier, Cesare vs. Disorder, Christian Burkhardt, just to name a few. Since then, a lot happened and he released on labels like smallroom music, Hidden Recordings, Sleaze and his own label Wall Music. With the foundation of Wall Music/Wall Music Limited, he took a further step into independence and he began to push unknown artists and labels with the credo of having the best fun out of it.

Stef Mendesidis returns to Klockworks with a massive four-tracker. A resident at Moscow’s Monasterio, the DJ & producer has developed a solid techno sound channelling cinematic aesthetics that he already proved with his first appearance on the label.
Mostly using analogue gear Mendesidis records his grooves in one take. ‘Klockworks 26’ includes 4 of his distinctive cuts showcasing his excellent production that you will experience at Ben Klock’s DJ sets.

Ø [Phase] is one of the most interesting artists around, representing England, he explores new facets of techno with his mesmerising and progressive productions as well as fulfilling the functional needs of a club DJ. A regular on Kriz’s Token, he has also appeared on Len Faki’s Figure, Slam’s Soma, Ben Sims’ Machine Label, and collaborated with artists such as Rødhåd, Antigone, and the mighty Underworld.

Launching his own label Modwerks in the process of releasing his third album titled Before This, it once again shows his depth as a creative marksman and fearless experimenter.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Morphic-R that wastes no time taking off. Rolling and pulsing synth jabs lay under flickering hats and a stomping beat that create the energetic mood. Later the hook opens up with audio effects for stronger impact and static textures add a delicate touch to the impeccable sound design.
