JasijahX (born Jasijah Aleczander Smith December 23, 1991) hails from the Pacific Northwest; Portland, Oregon to be exact. His family moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2004. In 2010 while attending Grambling State University on a football scholarship; he made the tough decision to leave college, return to Georgia and pursue his passion for the art of rap. 
JasijahX is a lyricist, one of the last of a dying breed. He is heavily influenced by his Northwestern roots but you can definitely feel the grit of that Georgia red clay in the stories he tells with a delivery that is passionate clear and precise. Growing up in a single parent household and watching his mother struggle to provide for he and his older brother gave him a strong sense of respect for the plight of young women. "I just want to make all women feel beautiful and wanted" says JasijahX 
The youngest member of the Burn Unit (a conglomerate of DJ's, artists, producers and film makers founded by the late Legendary DJ BigKap "The Wardin") JasijahX was hand picked by DJ Big Kap for his lyrical prowess and his commercial appeal. He has already begun to catch the attention of some of the music industry's most respected label executives, radio programmers, artists and dj's across the country. JasijahX is currently slated to release his first official single Tonight featuring Anthony Lewis followed by his debut EP AnybodyWantToHearASong.
