Halfway through, the track takes a slight turn and becomes more of a soul jazz piece. Keeping the light touch but with the addition off horns and a change of pace.

I wrote a song for someone who unfortunately I haven't known for very long, and their time is now rapidly coming to an end. Its a song about how hard it is to say goodbye in in these situations, but its kind of become a symbolic track for a couple of other endings I've had recently (other than death too)

I hope you can relate to this, I would also love to hear how! i'm sure it'll invoke more inspiration for me.
