HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS

I turned 21 today. My boss also gave me the day off to celebrate.
Spent most of the day with a beautiful & intelligent girl from Nairobi who was a delight to spend time with, which made my birthday far better than it would have been (because otherwise I'd have been alone).

Updates backed by the sounds of thunder and rain late on a Friday night. I've got a month and twelve days left before I head back to Toronto, and regardless of whether or not I get my work visa to come back to HK in January, the time I have spent working and living in HK has given me invaluable experience. I'm so grateful to have been lucky enough to have made it here.

Today coming out of the metro, I got caught in the HK downpour without an umbrella. While waiting for the light to change at the crosswalk, a kind man walked over to me and held his umbrella over my head. Listen for the rest of my story.

I met a Torontonian in the rain

Bought an impromptu ticket to see Benjamin Francis Leftwich at MOM Livehouse, which is a cool venue super close to my apartment. The concert was chill, and just what a needed after a meh day.
