Bombay Bicycle Club have been a favourite of mine for many years now. I remember first hearing them on a mix tape my friend was playing in his car back in 2009. From then, I grew to love them as a band and respected them as underrated songwriters. I remember when I first saw BBC in Birmingham in Oct 2011 for thier 3rd album A Different Kind Of Fix.  Since then, they have been a massive inspiration to me as a singer/songwriter and performer. Jack Steadman has a way with words that brings me to my knees. This song Dust On The Ground has always been a favourite of mine and it holds a special place in my heart. I can only hope to one day write a song like this and hope that it affects someone in the way this one has me.

Jasmine Burns is an Americana singer-songwriter from rural Yorkshire, having recently moved onto a humble narrowboat on The Grand Union Canal in the Buckinghamshire area. She laces her warm and rugged vocals around tales of a bruised and heavy heart, all mixed together with a jaunty, foot tapping rhythm. She has been compared to artists such as Caitlyn Rose, Esme Patterson and First Aid Kit.

 Jasmine has recently released her debut EP "Homesick" which is available on all major streaming platforms and is busy establishing herself on the Midlands scene.
