tajemnicza_statuetka opens the new release by @jamaszka_ft on @eltron-domtrojga . Conceived and executed entirely during lockdown rule, the record is a pointed expression of the angst and confusion that we all fell prey to – aimed at a dancefloor that was not to be, yet delivered with a gripping honesty that in itself offers consolation. The track’s frantic breaks are juxtaposed with dreamy soundscapes and underpinned with earth-shattering bass hits – all recorded as a one-take with minimal overdubs by the cryptic genius that is jamaszka FM, who uses his hardware improvisation experience to the full on this un-rave anthem.

My name is Anna Borsuk and I am a promoter and a DJ, representing the young female generation of artists. I grew up in Kiev, but have been based in Warsaw for a long time. My history with music is quite a varied one, as I never dwell long on one specific genre, opting instead to try and convey the special charm of the Ukrainian underground scene and its diverse sounds. Lately I've mostly been inspired by electro, breaks, synth, acid and ghetto, while also delving into rominimal, minimal breaks and groove.
As a member of the international SOJUZ collective, I'm involved in the pursuit of organising clubnights that foster the underground music culture, with all of its different approaches to music, visuals and clubbing itself. Every two weeks you can join us on a journey through all that and more, by listening to our show on Radio Kapitał.

@valdemar_st is a DJ and promoter born in Lithuania, now based in Warsaw. He co-creates and runs the SOJUZ music collective, which organizes regular music events across Poland. His musical style ranges from classic sounds of the Romanian scene to vigorous deep house dancefloors in Moscow.

@hermeneiaa (Karolina Kobielusz) - Warsaw based DJ and a vocalist.
She has recorded mixes for Unsound series, Rinse France, Ethereal Grooves, Jerome, Room 4 Resistance and Oramics. She has performed at Hör, Unsound Festival,  Ephemera Festival  and numerous club parties among such artists as Object Blue, DJ Loser, Endgame, TSVI,  Fakethias, Flora Yin-Wong, Via App. She was Ben UFO’s supporter at Warsaw’s Jasna 1. 

As a DJ, she focuses on building a narrative, while looking for non-obvious, contrasting and multi-genre connections. She dives into the darker, more percussive sides of bass music,  blending heavy tunes as well as more ethereal ones.  As a vocalist, she’s working on her debut album. The founder and host of the Progrefonik audiovisual platform.

Promoter behind the new party series called SPLOT and co-curator of bass party DRUMFORMATOR in Transformator club. Day and night explorer of fresh, out-of-the-box club and non-club electronic music. Striving to bring some new experiences to the local dj scene by seeking for breaky, bassy, idm-ish, culturally as broad as possible dance music. Always excited to transfer a wide range of styles and tempos from his radio shows to dynamic dj sets.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, NHJ started DJing during the late 90s. He has been resident at Australia’s most vaunted clubs and parties playing anything electro, house, techno, EBM & wave through to dub, world music and cosmic sounds. From dingy back rooms to overpriced cocktail bars to festival stages, Jan has toured the US, Asia and Europe playing amongst others New York, Detroit, LA, Barcelona, the Hague, Singapore, Bangkok and Shanghai. His experience in the industry beyond DJing includes running the M Division label, producing records, organising club nights and events, participating at the Red Bull Music Academy and hosting radio shows on numerous independent stations. In 2014, NHJ returned to his ancestral home. Following appearances at editions of Unsound Festival and its club nights, sporadic select guest spots in obscure basements, the sabbatical is over. Out of the wilderness, this mix signals NHJ’s return to the circuit and features raw trax from the heart, traversing the slower end of the club spectrum, mutating gradually into peaktime sounds.

@Majlipl is an alias of Marta Malinowska, a DJ and radio host based in Warsaw currently working as the managing director of Newonce Radio.

Her sound was heavily influenced by the melting pot of UK and NY's early 10s bass music, where sweet r&b melodies would mix with ice-cold grime, and continues to evolve to this day, encompassing everything from hip hop through jungle to breakbeats.

Being part of Regime—a collective pushing the most exciting local music and art through its releases and events—and the crew around Uczulenie club, Young Majli quickly became one of the most influential people in the world of non-techno club music in Poland, known for her eclectic tastes blended into smooth mixes.

Majli's new mix for Jasna 1 is a new opening in her musical search and development in which she's balancing her characteristic adore for expressive bass and regular dance melodies giving the listeners the best selection of her favourite sounds.

We’re excited to announce the premiere of Rabbit-Hole – third single from Entourage EP by Kyiv-born, Wrocław-based producer Yes Stanley. It comes to the light of the day via Jasna 1’s channel. The track showcases Stanley’s abilities to provide outsider, yet club ready arrangements which flow between electro, techno and UK-infused bass music. Here, SPLOT label follows its mission to deliver a wide range of moods and styles to the landscape of the electronic music scene in Poland.

Despite being only a short time on the radar of the scene, PAWEL is already regularly booked by the most renowned clubs in Poland slowly gaining traction with his strong curations and utterly smooth mixing skills. Being an advocat for the craft of djing with vinyl, he had the chance to support artists such as Psyk, Takaaki Itoh, Stephanie Sykes, The Lady Machine and many more. Raw, deep, hypnotic and groovy, his sound perfectly rounds up contemporary techno transporting relentless energy with style all the way through. He run his is own regular queer party series called — PAXXX, with a huge focus on diverse lineup which brings fresh air to the techno scene. 

This mix tells about his emotional journey. He started it deep and groovy and ended up with some relentless and driving tracks. The whole set is recorded from vinyls only.

SPLOT label is back with the most extensive body of work to date. With the compilation called Crystalline, they bring together a variety of styles and some of the most exciting producers of the Polish underground electronic scene. On the title track ‘Crystalline 99’, Cafe de la Jungle brings cyberspace-tribal energy. Channelling the futuristic and psychedelic sounds of early 90s jungle, he closes the release and leads us into the sound of the new millennium.

Drawing from both mythology and scientific speculation, TAMTEN continues his meticulous world-building efforts on the first ever full length LP that follows up the story of “Diamentowa Sutra”.
Loosely based on the structure of an antique Greek tragedy, “End of That World” blurs the lines between both genres and narrative techniques. Even though intended for deliberate start-to-finish listening sessions similarly to a modern kraut / psych rock opera, the infectious grooves and mutant dub echoes beg for arcane communal dancefloors in the most unexpected settings.
TAMTEN never hesitates to borrow from seemingly unrelated sources of inspiration. Luckily, instead of boasting with cultural literacy, he’d rather invite us to join him on an odyssey through eras, ideas & often unnoticed or forgotten works of others to make our own connections and interpretations. Continuing his exploration of balearic, new wave and esoteric tropes in Polish music, he also manages to reference philharmony and world renowned pop icons.
The same approach is reflected in the ensemble of friends and artists contributing to “End of That World” with instrumentals, rearrangements, samples, voices and drawings. The personnel includes some of the prominent talents of their generation like Pejzaż, Freux and Ivan Bayor, acknowledged for introducing Polish and international audiences to obscure and yet club-ready sounds.
Utilizing both classic & modern gear, TAMTEN develops a palette of his own. New age ambiences are coupled with contemporary downtempo chuggy beats while coldwave-inspired dark disco pulsating synthesizers evoke a feeling of mystery and suspense with corresponding organic textures and ritual toms and clanky percussions.

DJ by night, art theorist by day, @ddaisycutter is a member and a driving force of the Warsaw based FLAUTA collective who throw parties to raise money for social organisations providing assistance to immigrants in Europe and one of the people responsible for creating the first polish independent collective radio station – Radio Kapitał. 

Providing a mixture of nostalgic and euphoric tones, the mix is loaded with quarantined releases and features a blend of house, breakbeat, electro and techno. Unify, isolated dancers of the world.

Alexis Phase @alexisalexisalexisalexis comes from Cyprus, but much of his dj life he spent in Berlin. 
He is mainly known for being one of the Griessmüehle's resident djs and running his party series called Phase in the same venue.
We had pleasure to host Alexis at Jasna 1 during @MoveMozg party in September 2018.

@dtekk - DJ, promoter, collector, cultural activist, and occasional radio host from Białystok, Poland who first stepped behind the decks in 2000 at the famed Metro club. The originator and program director of Up To Date Festival, the founder and booker of FOMO club. Co-founder of now-defunct Technosoul collective and record label. Dtekk is also the author of the Pozdro Techno slogan and father of custom built Pozdro Techno Sound System as well as the man behind Salon Ambientu event series.

Over the years Dtekk has received numerous awards for both his activity as a promoter and as a DJ. He represented Białystok, the Podlaskie Voivodship and Poland on numerous occasions, e.g at workdwide EXPO in Milan. What has been most important to him are not awards, but persistent contribution and genuine commitment to the scene.

Dtekk is one of the most consistent and experienced DJs in Poland, at the same time being one of the most versatile ones out there. His sets, played mostly from vinyl, feature mainly a broad spectrum of what’s best in techno and electro music, but he’s also a regular in ambient and experimental world. A special place in his repertoire is held by italo disco. When DJing he aims at striking a balance between an authentic search for the deepest forms of artistic expression and passing on a love of music to the people.

During his career, Jędrzej played at clubs all around Poland. He has also performed at the most renowned Polish festivals like Unsound, Audioriver, Garbicz, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Up To Date, Open’er, as well as outside Poland, for instance in Berlin’s Berghain, Griessmuehle, Ohm and Suicide Circus, Porto’s Gare or in countries such as United Kingdom, Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus, and Slovakia.
