Following the theme of my last song Where Comets Fall i wanted to try writing in another unfamiliar key, it makes for some fun and unique riffs. 
There are some fun guitar moments in this song but i am actually more proud of the drums i wrote/chose for this piece and the various cut aways/fills etc. I think it keeps the song exciting and interesting, and its not often in my songs i let the drums take the spotlight.
The chorus was pretty unique too with it's stop/start, call/response nature. One of the reasons why i chose to call it Embracing Madness. (The image is from Night Reign, i love that game).

Embracing Madness

So i worked on this track fro around 4 days or some shit, just got a sudden bump a or Insipiration and i flipped my shit. Worked kind of hard on it, sank into my roots to recover my hidden melodic-ness there is also no wobs or crazy in this soz.

This is my cover of Voltaire's Feathery Wings. The first time I heard his music. I was playing an MMO and some girl was singing one of his songs. I asked what is was and was told when your evil I looked it up and was sold. His music has shaped my own and my love for music I hope to make more soon.

Hello my name is Jason Creer, I am a solo musician from Fremantle Western Australia, I write original songs in various different styles, my instrument of choice is guitar, 
I use a custom 24 PRS, 7 string Schechter hell raiser for most of my songs  a 5 string ESP bass, a Maton acoustic and BS rich spider as well. The software I use is Reaper, superior drummer, EZ mix, EZ mix metal gods add on pack, alchemy Camel, Kontakt 5, Native instruments Damage, East West Symphonic Choirs and the audio interface I use is a sapphire pro 14. If anyone has any questions I would be more than happy to answer them for you, I really hope you all like my music sorry if the quality is a bit poor I am new to recording with computers. 

Also please ignore the 1.8 2.3 number things at the end of my songs if you download them I put them there to keep track of which song and revision of the song they are before they get a title 

My influences are Porcupine tree, Riverside, Devin Townsend, Anathema, Pineapple Thief, OSI, Steven Wilson, Opeth, Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, God is an Astronaut, Eluvium, God Speed you Black Emperor (I could go on forever)
My heavy influences are… Otep, Lamb of God, In Flames, Machine Head, Meshuggah, Isis, Gojira, Strapping Young Lad, Dark the Suns, Katatonia (I could also go on forever but I picked the ones am more influenced by)
