A recent collaboration with Si Fletch from Handmade Hands (rhythm guitar & lead vocals), Jonny (rhythm and lead guitars & vocals)and Daz (drums & vocals) from The Ace, and myself Jase Disgrace (bass, lead guitars & vocals). This was written and recorded in a day, and not really finished, but good enough for your ears to sample! :)

Thee Wylde Fuzz Show - Thinking

Apart from a knackered recording of us playing in my bedroom, using a plastic beer keg as a drum (!), this is the earliest recording I have of any band I've been in. This was our first time in a studio, and the final mix sounded dense and heavy. Not that you can tell much on this, as it's taken from another knackered tape, but at least you get the idea. Posted here purely for historic reasons only! :)
Lineup - Me on guitar (Westone Thunder 1A, I've recently acquired the exact same model and it's superb!) and vocals, Billy Crosby on bass, and Nick Percival on drums.

Vox Populae - The Stage

A song with a chorus! This was a right laugh to record, and showed great promise of things to come! And then we split up. :D Dynamite Daz Lee - drums, Me - guitar and vocals, Si Fletch - remainder. Somewhere in the mad voices at the intro I say 'where's the tea Daz?', as we jokingly remarked he was nothing but the tea boy. In reality he was the powerhouse genius sticksman driving us all along with great gusto. The best drummer I've played with bar none.

Ok why not, the 1st track of the 1st EP. It's raucous and I think a great opener. Straight guitar / bass / drums with one guitar overdub, and two vocals. Belt it out Fletch!

This is off the 1st EP, and stayed in the live set until the end, by which time it had evolved into something a bit more dynamic. Ok, you had to be there. :P

This was a song I co-wrote before The Lies formed, and brought to the table in the embryonic days of The Lies. We recorded it on my 4 track cassette (I think) and compressed the shit out of it! We performed it at the early gigs until better material came along (so not many times!)
