Can't Nobody

James 4:7-10 ~ "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you."

We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God... Whether we told the tiniest lie, stole the smallest thing, cussed, drank, smoke, had sex before marriage, gossiped, etc... none of us can say we are good because we aren't. Many people are okay with the lifestyles they live, but need to be warned of it because a life without knowing Jesus is an eternity wasted... You see, because of our sin, we are damned and the eternal punishment for that is hell. We go there by the choices that we make here on earth and by living in sin. However, God, in His goodness and mercy, sent His only son to take the sin of the world upon him and die for our sins. More directly, Jesus took the punishment that I deserved and because of what my mighty Savior did on that cross... I am no longer damned, but saved by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ. I hope that anyone seeing this that doesn't know Jesus is encouraged to seek Him and draw closest to Him. Life here is only temporary, but life after is forever... I hope you know that the one, true, and living God loves you so much!
