São Paulo producer and DJ Seed Selector has developed a distinctive style of melodic, progressive house shot through with funk, breakbeat and Miami bass influences.

His new four-track release, "TINHA Q SER" , arrives as a joint project from Tropicana Records and Jardineira Records.

The EP opens with “Aumenta o Som (Original Mix),” a collaboration with DJ Sanduba that combines urgent percussion and vocal fragments with a playful, block-party energy. Its counterpart, the “Solteira Mix,” strips the track back into looser, freer form, letting the rhythm expand into open space.

On the flip, “Dump of Life (Original Mix)” drives into heavier territory: a hypnotic, percussive workout with basslines that trace the tension of city nights. The “Vapo Mix” reworks it into something sharper and more vaporous, pushing towards a psychedelic release.

"TINHA Q SER" underlines Seed Selector’s range: funk-infused house with both weight and freedom, rooted in São Paulo’s underground but reaching outward to European dance floors.

'Playin' On The Juno' is yet another genre defying dance-floor destroyer. While the beat Jacks and fidgets its way to crescendo, Possible Side Effects spits some smooth bars about getting right for the night! This is an all-round instant classic.
Jason then breaks up the beat a little for the 'Laidback 106' Remix and strips off the vocal for the instrumental.

In the first year of Nightprowl, the label has had plays on Radio 1, features on the EDM Network, reviews in DJ Mag, topped the charts at Juno download and had support from a diverse list of luminaries such as Orbital, Kissy Sellout, Stanton Warriors & Marcus Nasty. About DJ Deckard:
Born and bred in Washington, Keith Harris (a.k.a. Deckard) starting DJ-ing in 2000, at venues and clubs in Seattle and Canada. He moved to San Francisco in 2005 where his skills and talent evolved and became even more prolific, garnering interest and accolade and earning him a spot in the underground music scene.

Deckard made his big splash as a member of Coda in 2006 at Burning Man. Soon after he joined forces with the Space Cowboys whose parties are legendary in San Francisco and Burning Man and whose Ripecast podcast was nominated for Best Podcast of the Year by Breakspoll for 2013.

Mixing together a blend of music selection including, but certainly not limited to breakbeat, nu funk, and house, Deckard keeps crowds on their feet and moving backed by his unique sound and ability to mix genres whether it be playing a sunrise set at Breakfast of Champions or closing down the main room in front of a packed warehouse.

Deckard has performed in a variety of venues on the west coast and Canada with DJs such as Jondi & Spesh, Uberzone, Lee Coombs, Plump DJs, Dylan Rhymes, Meat Katie, Elite Force/Simon Shackleton, Worthy and more.
