I met Jake Edwards around 1996.  When he and Laurie and Zeke followed me to Nashville in 2020, he kept saying that we should start a podcast.  I kept refusing to do it, saying no one cares what we have to say and no one would listen.  On one day in April of 2020 Jake popped by and I said, "Hey you got a minute? lets record this.".  He got really excited and we chatted for about 30 minutes about all kinds of random stuff.  Jake and I used to talk and discuss things and even argue like brothers.  Raw and Unfiltered. Honest and True.  

Jake was in a fatal car wreck on June 12, 2021 so unfortunately this was the only conversation that he and i ever recorded.   It was the only episode of our podcast: The Rabbit Hole OddCast.  I chopped up a bunch of his audio and put it to an instrumental track I had already made.   Jacob Robert Edwards,  I miss laughing with you homie and i'm sorry I kept pushing back on your podcast idea.  Anyway. Happy Birthday Dawg.  Rest easy homie.
