He unplugs from his data tether, and carefully steps down the metal stair case into the dark and musty opening below. Once a megastructure made of steel and concrete, the ancient structure now sits alone, a monolith on a hillside, sacrificing its soul to time. Within the structure could be the one thing, the last resort, the key that changes everything.

With each step further he takes, he descends deeper beneath the barren terrain of this strange world. The air is cold and damp, but his nostrils only feel the metallic blend of oxygen filling his suit. He feels his heart rate rise. He continues to walk the path, illuminated only by his flashlight listening to the sound of nothing echoing throughout the void.

Rocking a steady tempo and a hip-hop gait, “Time” is tuned strictly for shredding speaker cones. Mottled, brackish textures and faint melodic elements set the stage for multiple dives into full-throttle breakdowns of both the half-time and DnB variety. Brutal bass lines switch gears between heavily processed patches, crushing the frequency spectrum with eager bass weight. this ep is about my travels to the u.s., visiting and making music with some of my best friends; the results of the current election stand in total opposition to this. my dream of obtaining a visa to perform in the states will become much more difficult than it already is. moreover, extremist policies will (and have) spread in governments around the world as a result of this election.

my heart goes out to everyone who will inevitably be affected by this. i hope my ep can provide something positive to connect with. i stand with all of my friends and listeners in the u.s. and around the world, we will continue to create and consume art through it all. thank you.

the second single from global tourist assembly, "arbor lumia theme" is out.

getting to play one of my first shows was a really defining time for me and ended up deeply influencing my priorities both in my artistic and every day life.

i got to meet so many of my friends i've spoken to for years online and we all bonded further over our connection to music and art.

this track was created specifically for the arbor lumia event in 2022 and completed towards the beginning of the following year.

Spoon Melter came together by recording & processing a detuned banjo, block flute, and basslines from the Arturia Microfreak. The vibe of the track made me think of a fierce yet sarcastic creature.
