My winning songs where I went from rock bottom to my success. This is the phoenix rising songs. In back on top cause I fell off and when a stay for awhile. But then made it back. And gay rights has to do with fighting discrimination even here in the north bay.

I wanted to make one about things I care about and clearly I am a gay rapper. So I wrote this with intents that it inspires others to not take shit. I have been in the news Bay Area wide several times due to standing up for my rights. Just because I’m gay doesn’t make me weak or whatever society says. In fact I have less to loose so I believe as a community we can do more for each other.

Song about growing up queer and using substances. It is hard to be different and frequently we end up using hard drugs. This is about my teenage years.

This song is written based on the lack of actual affordable housing in Sonoma county. The prices faces have skyrocketed since 2017 and not one person has done anything to stop it. When you talk to a politican they seem bewildered by your inability to afford housing since they are so out of touch with the modern man

Winning after so much diversity and challenges being queer and substance abuse. Coming out on top. My song about how I made it back to the top from the bottom of the last few years and am winning now as a gay man.

Thoughts on what happens after death. Existentialism. I read an article about a young girl who was pronounced dead by the doctor at the hospital and the parents insisted on bringing her home and keeping her on life support. Well after they brought her home her brain still triggers the hormone responsible for puberty. So suddenly this child who was pronounced dead is going through puberty I believe it was she had her period.  So was she alive or dead? Did she feel and think still? Her brain was still doing things. It is actually terrifying to think about. But it’s a question.

Hip hop track. I don’t know what else to say about this one. It’s pure hip hop. I just wrote this track while listing to this beat and thought to myself I wanted to sound like he founding father of hip hop. Just so much dissing and uplifting on the self. Lots of analolgy and rhyming off the top of the head. It’s almost like a freestyle at times where I just wrote this down without even thinking of where I was going next. I just went with the last word and then tried to think of what can I rhyme with this. I’m also really proud of this picture I took for the cover down in Marin of the Golden Gate Bridge to show that yes we are the bay,  just a little north.

Trying to do better after getting sober. After doing drugs for so long it’s hard to view your life as anything but a downward spiral. Many days I find myself in tears again wishing I could disappear. Substance use is so preventing in queer communities due to the lack of acceptance from cis heterosexual people. So many queer people would have better life outcomes which don’t include using drugs if we just had more acceptance.

Just a song about being a gay playa and not being afraid or apologetic for it. We are just like anyone else living our lives and having a good time. Just trying to have some fun with some guys and kick back.

Just a queer rapping therapist from the north bay. I wrote rhymes my entire life and it brought me some relief. Especially when it came to battling my addiction.  I just try to work through my emotions using music as a coping skill. Being a queer rapper that still has fast food flows. Create all my own beats and write my own rhymes. Right now just rough versions but soon I’ll make them sound a bit better: just love music and grew up listening to underground Bay Area rap music like master p, coughnut, x-raided, spice 1, 11-5, 2-11, Mac Dre, and the likes.
