Jason Nicholson-Porter hails from the sunny island of Jamaica and is one of the latest and brightest talents to emerge within the UK gospel music niche. Jason is a dynamic singer-songwriter whose passion, energy and love for praise and worship resonates through his live and recorded performances. Having been exposed to music and singing from an early age, the major influence of Jason’s introduction to music and the subsequent development of his talent were as a result of his parents, who were both involved in the music industry.

Jason’s first solo was aged five where Jason’s recalls ‘I remember feeling a chill down my spine, and being emotionally overcome’ this was as a direct result of the audience reacting to Jason’s performance and was the first rousing experience Jason encountered being used by God to minister to others. Jason’s vocal sound can be described as a fusion of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and John Legend, whilst his music is a blend of, RnB, Jazz, and indie. Jason now has over twenty years vocal performance experience, this coupled with Jason’s unrivalled passion for praise and worship means that you will be stirred up, encouraged and blessed whilst you listen to Jason's extensive vocal range and ability to deliver powerful and flawless vocals.

In 2012 Jason released his highly awaited single entitled ‘Lord I Thank You’ which is an inspired personal testimony where Jason shared how:

‘I was feeling lonely and empty and I decided to pray, and as I prayed I was inspired to write a song and the single "Lord I thank you’ is the result of my prayer’.

Following the release of Lord I Thank You Jason has been performing and ministering throughout UK and Europe. Be ready to hear, feel and encounter a truly memorable experience as Jason gracefully ushers you into the presence of God.
