I had a version of this song uploaded before, but I really wasn't happy with the quality of it, especially since it's one of the cornerstones (seriously, it's referenced in like, 8 different songs) of the personal project that 99% of my music on here is devoted to. I touched up the quality a bit, and changed a few things that were bothering me.

Anyway, this song serves as the credits theme for the final 'season' of my project, and begins playing during the last scene of every 'episode', then rolls on into the credits. It doubles as the theme of a very important character.

Chris Hülsbeck - Turrican 2 Main Title Dosk-Mix

This is an orchestral arrangement of the main theme for my personal project, Elancia Chronicles.  https://soundcloud.com/kamiyana and I worked pretty hard on this for a few months on and off between our other projects.   
Both of us did several minutes of the arrangement, and added parts to the other one's bits of the arrangement. It resulted in a pretty dynamic tune. 

Since this is the tune that is supposed to introduce readers to the first batch of characters, and the world as it is right at the start of the story (the story spans 3 years, so the world will change and evolve as it goes) we decided to make it long, and let it cover all sorts of moods.  The beginning is more adventerous and orchestral, while later on, it becomes more choir oriented and moody. At the end, everything comes together.
Guitar is a constant through the song, as the main character of the first story is a guitarist.

We wanted the song to feel both familiar to people who grew up on JRPGs in the 90s, and fresh at the same time, to show that the soundtrack is going to be very diverse. Of course, you all on Soundcloud have heard just how outlandish the soundtrack gets later on (techno, R&B, rock, country, and more are all wrapped up in it, along with pretty much everything else I've ever wanted to try) but for people just starting off the story, this seems like a good way to sum up everything.

Elancia Chronicles Main Theme "To Get By" [Feat. Kamiyana]

I meant to have this one ready to upload along with the main theme, but it ended up taking extra time! 
Oh well, anyway, this theme (also from my personal project) is a theme that plays in a couple of areas.  One is a dark forest in Lurafelle recovering from a fire that nearly eradicated it. Hundreds who were hiding in the woods were killed in the blaze, and a village burned to the ground.  Fifteen years later, and little hints of what happened here remain.
The other is a small city in Bajandrus that was destroyed some years ago (anywhere from fifty to twenty five, depending on who you ask)by giant plants, which ripped through a majority of the buildings, and killed almost everyone before turning to stone.  Beyond these details (which one can see by visiting the place) everything else is murky at best. There are a hundred different stories as to what happened and why, although only one of them is (mostly) true.

Both places are important to the story in their own way, and one of them is visited multiple times.

When I finally decided to go through with the soundtrack and story start to finish (so 2009, before that, it had just been little chunks, and a random song here or there) this was the first song I composed for it, and is very dear to me.

Done Got Lost

Another theme from my project. This plays during some scenes in bars during the story. Since a lot of the characters drink a little too much, these outings can get a little silly sometimes. 

That Old Saloon

One more from my project, Elancia Chronicles, for tonight -- here is a somewhat cute theme that plays during times when the characters reflect on the past, and things going on around them. It's supposed to signify a sort of uncertainty about things in the future, things in the past, and things in the present all at once, although in a really wistful manner, rather than a dark one.

Later on, during a certain point in the story, this leitmotif gets used again as a field map theme, although in a much grander fashion, and with a few others mixed in. ( https://soundcloud.com/leila-wilson-woofle/storms-culmination-night )

Info from the original upload: The focus of this particular one is a logging town in the game's world, which is located along a river. Although most of the city is still forested in, a lot of the surrounding area has been logged, replanted, and logged again for hundreds of years. The industry in this town is very old, and a lot of the mills in town are as old as the oldest trees within the town.
There's a lot of machines here, working day and night, alongside their living counterparts, and lots of conveyor belts in the trees.  (So basically Wood Zone >_>; )
The town (Zandvoort, by name) isn't that far from the town of Zolder, whose song you can find here: Leila-wilson-woofle – Deep-forest Both were once the lands of the fox-tribes, but now are a bit more international.

As I work back through season 1 buffing out blemishes and scrubbing away grime, I came to realize that I needed to remember what I was working on and why.

To Get By [Season 1 OP]

I'm so glad to finally be able to post work I've been doing for Windy Games' forthcoming game, Miasma Caves (more info here: http://www.miasmacaves.com/ ) 
This is definitely one of the bigger projects I've taken on in 2017, and I've been really chomping at the bit to not only show off the music, but introduce people to the game, which is coming along fantastically. I'm only going to be posting a couple songs, as it'll be best to uncover the rest as you play the game :D

Turrican 2 - Hi Gi Joe! (Remastered)

More M1 practice. I ended up liking this better than the original! Unfortunately, I lost a lot of what I used to build said original, and as such, the intro is a touch janky.  Anyway this is ECO stuff, so if the lore interests you, read on, I guess. :V   
I wanted to do a better job of using this song to convey the landscape of Dascillia, as well as the type of place it is. Celestion is a place bathed in antiquity, but Dascillia is more modern. Telegraph lines and train tracks slice through the landscape, along with wagon trails and other signs of technology.  In some places, smoke from factories blocks out the sun. Farmland is scarce, but what fertile land there is, is covered in farms and ranches. Dascillia is a country at war, but it's so vast that away from the battlefield, all one can usually hear is the wind.
