As we approach the 100th addition to our podcast stream, we bring you a deep and alluring trip courtesy of electronic music duo, Binary Thoughts.

Their dark, unpredictable, underground techno and electronic sounds, evident in their DJ sets, reflects the uniqueness of their one of a kind 'binary' sound, able to take you from darkest corners to the deepest and most colourful nebulae of the universe.

Currently they are exploring the vast horizons of techno music and improving their performance skills, with an aim to create their own unique blend of creativity to start producing music on their own.

Father, label owner, ghost producer for the stars, beer enthusiast and Dutch Oven expert. This guy has it all. This guy is a weapon. This guy is Jeff Doubleu.

Jeff's music has been in our sets for over a decade. From his big collaborations with Hijack to his latest remix for Tchami and Malaa which blended Dutch House into the tech-house scene. I think if you asked him to mix dirt and milk together he could make it taste good. Not only this but being one of the founding fathers and still A&R manager at the label, he has his ear to the pulse and this new EP showcases exactly that.

The A-side 'Tell Me' is a deep brooding chugger with just enough snare fills to please any Chicago chin stroker. On the flip we see the Jeff collaborating with mystery producer Kimba with a boompty dutch cross over. We can smell the word Fidget being thrown around for this one. Lastly, we have 'The Thrill' which turns it up the heat to round out the EP with something for everyone. 

No matter how you pronounce it, whether its Jeff Double U, Jeff De Blau, Jeff Da Blue, nothing gets past the guys skills to produce chunky ass house music.

Here’s a recording taken from last year's ‘F**k Disco Demolition’ party at the excellent Paloma club in Berlin, it was such a wicked night and great to play alongside Dan Curtin and the LiveJam crew. Sadly we weren’t able to return for our party this July due to Covid 19 but hopefully this set will keep you going til the next one!

it’s only the second time I’ve donned my Ron Bacardi hat (literally) in Berlin (the first being at Panorama Bar a few years ago). For those unfamiliar with the vibe, it’s Raw House, Mutant Disco and original Warehouse grooves, taking inspiration from Chicago masters like Ron Hardy, DJ Rush and Derrick Carter and mixed up in my usual energetic style. 

These occasional sets are a lot of fun to do, hope you dig this recording.
