The Mad Dummy is even less corporeal in this AU. They don't view the Dummy they possess as a real body for themselves, just a tool for whatever they need. In this instance, what they need is to fill the human with knives and get their ghostly hands on their SOUL. A dream shared by most monsters to some extent, though the Mad Dummy is rather more... Enthusiastic about it.

This song technically replaces "Dummy!", but it occurs in the Sanctum instead of the Waterfall replacement. Don't worry though, this isn't the only time the Dummy will strike.

I'm pretty sure when we started out I wasn't even this far on my main and I honestly think at the time I wouldn't have even reached that so to see that I was twice as wrong about it as one could ever be is very heartwarming. I think in a weird way I still can't really believe we have the following we do but honestly I think it's not something you should expect. It's nice to be wrong about things like this ^-^ Oh yeah, Slick elaborates on the context in his lil blurb below but the reason Callie's somewhat involved in the track and the thumbnail is because for one - the three of us fuck around a lot she's basically our mutual best friend. "The name of this track is actually a reference to Quicksilver’s origins. Way back in the day, our system was that there would be an equal exchange—I would write a certain amount of pages, and that would equal one song. It often meant that depending on the speed we worked, we’d be in “debt” with one another. Eventually, though, we got close enough that we just decided to scrap the whole system and just agree to do infinite music/writing for each other.
With that out of the way, thank you all so much for 500 followers. I’ve always been a little embarrassed at how self-indulgent Quicksilver is—sure, it’s a hub for Aftergore stuff, but it’s also where stuff for all my AUs, no matter how stupid, get to flourish. To know that half a thousand people would tune in to projects that I made…it’s a feeling I’ve never had before, and it’s great. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. Whether you just followed us yesterday or have been with us since the beginning; whether you’ve only liked one track, you’re only here for Aftergore, or you’ve been liking and reposting a little bit of everything…no matter what kind of fan you are, thank you.
And of course, above all, thank you to Toadie for everything they’ve done for me. I don’t know where I’d be without them. It’s such an amazing feeling to see projects that I never thought would see the light of day come to life in such a beautiful way, and it’s all thanks to them.
