Originally recorded for our Soho Radio show on 28th December 2022, Nina from Japan gives us a mix to finish off another memorable year.
Nina - born and raised in Kamakura, Japan - is a DJ currently based in London. Influenced by her father (who is a DJ and Jazzy Sport member) Nina started to DJ herself and explore her own sound through her own discoveries in digging vinyl.
In addition to Djing, Nina organises a range of parties and music festivals in Japan -including ‘No Comply’ and ‘Comfort Zone’.
With a primary focus on deep house, she is still not afraid to transcend a wide span of genres including bass-funk, soul, hiphop to broken beat - to ensure that anyone on the floor will be moving to her groove.

Thanks to all the happy faces who stayed up all night or who set their dusty alarm clocks to come and dance with us Wednesday morning. Having been on the other side of the speakers for many a sunrise it was a treasured moment to play this music, which holds a lot of emotions for many of us.

We want to thank Fleetwood Mac for the original magic and Robot Heart for creating the opportunity to crank it loud and proud. The edits and remixes included were created by us (Roxanne Roll and Smooth Sailing) and many of our producer friends who we’d like to thank for their work and passion: Psychemagik, In Flagranti, Antenna Happy, Twin Sun, Dean Kenny, Youth Edits, Cosmic Kids and Trail Mix.
