One of the first tracks I made on a computer from something I came up with on the bass guitar using the built-in MIDI stuff that Win XP shipped with, in around the year 2000. Drawn out on the piano roll. The voices were as close as I could get to what I wanted, but far from perfect. However, somehow that adds to  the charm.

I got a free bit of software from somewhere, Dance Ejay 2 by Magix. It was a sample drag-and-drop programme, but had the capability to record sound and had a built-in drum machine. It was limited to 120bpm, but you could at least do half, or double that. I also used soft synth software to create noises to add to the track. As a bass player, I was rather proud of my guitar solo at the end

Short library riff

I played bass guitar in various bands between the ages of 15-30. As I turned into an old git, computers became the home recording studio I always wanted. All the tracks are experiments/sketches exploring what I can create. All this is just for fun. Anyone liking it is a bonus.
