Fraunhofer Diffraction is a project by the Russian Stanislav Martensitov (born 1993, based in Moscow). He previously made music for a project called Вечный Ноябрь (Renamed to Stahlflüstern/ Totenraum/ Eternal November), but decided to consolidate all his efforts into Fraunhofer Diffraction. Stanislav was previously an active member of the Russian WitchHouse community ВЕДЬМИН ДОМ (VEDMIN DOM). Stanislav later broke off from VEDMIN DOM after its end, and now seems to be an independent artist.

Known as one of the Godfathers of the Russian WitchHouse scene, who started their humble beginnings during the early days of VV17CHØU7 (WitchOut) performing alongside other popular artist like SUICIDEWAVE, Radost Moja, and Mugl, who later on made a name for themselves.

Fraunhofer Diffractions music brings a range of Emotions, his music can give off feelings of deep sadness, Melancholy, great joy, and Anger. His music to me in my personal opinion feel like tracks filled with pent up unreleased emotions someone has been keeping deep inside themselves and now releasing them after a long time. I always loved the way most of his tracks seem to build up and get very intense towards the end.

I'm aware some of his albums may be missing on this playlist, since I only uploaded the ones that were mainly WitchHouse & Dark Ambient, as his other albums are more so Techno and a mix of other genres since I'm trying to keep my account mainly WitchHouse.

It's been a while since I've written in a release. I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement.
I'm working on new styles and genres which tie into Witch House or Wave as always. In contrast to my last release DISTRESS, I've decided to make Betrayal a harsher and a more unique experience that I hope you all enjoy. As written in my previous posts, my music is used to express and or portray how I am feeling and my experiences in life, and this is no exception. It's been a rough year so far but things are looking up lately. I plan on making my next project softer and possibly more EDMish, which is something I've been wanting to do for a while.

Fun Fact: 

"Pictureplane"(Travis Egedy), is a popular artist known for making his come up in the electronic music scene, DIY Venues, also popular for hanging around artists like "Grimes" and "Crystal Castles" in the early come up days of these artist, he is also the one who came up with the word "Witch House" which is a playful word on "House" music, though "Witch House" is now a popular music genre that is enjoyed by many.

"Crystal Castles" are actually one of the very first, if not the first electronic music duo to actually invent "Witch House" music, as you can hear dark beats and sorrow drawn out voices off of some of their early (demo songs/ Demo Album) dating back from "2007" and before that, which is crazy to think since during that time "Witch House" did not have a name for itself yet.
