NERDY NASTYA - Ведьмин Дом (Mixtape)

Sasha Volik is the designer and DJ of Wigwama in St. Petersburg and the author of the witch house / chillwave project of the same name - SASHA ₴ѺѺ, and the organizer of the first series of retrowave parties.
SASHA ₴ѺѺ – musician, released beyond the Witch House, using his own special style and aesthetics. Regularly takes part in live shows and themed events.
A project whose style is based on an unusual combination of such musical trends as electroclash, chillwave and dream pop, aesthetics and emotional expressiveness. Without being attached to patterns, Sasha creates sound canvases where meditative and furious merge together, and the rave can be replaced by ambient. This turns each album into a complete picture, where a certain sequence of tracks is not just an accident.

Fun Fact: 

"Pictureplane"(Travis Egedy), is a popular artist known for making his come up in the electronic music scene, DIY Venues, also popular for hanging around artists like "Grimes" and "Crystal Castles" in the early come up days of these artist, he is also the one who came up with the word "Witch House" which is a playful word on "House" music, though "Witch House" is now a popular music genre that is enjoyed by many.

"Crystal Castles" are actually one of the very first, if not the first electronic music duo to actually invent "Witch House" music, as you can hear dark beats and sorrow drawn out voices off of some of their early (demo songs/ Demo Album) dating back from "2007" and before that, which is crazy to think since during that time "Witch House" did not have a name for itself yet.
