We all grieve in our own way.  Some through tears, some through celebration, some through words and some through prayers........ some curse God, and others thank the Universe for each day we are so fortunate to still be here... some express their sorrow in words................ I have always turned to music.

Cindy, I recorded this song is for you........ and every soul that has "battled" cancer.  It is not a battle....... not when you know there is no cure.   As a society, we talk about "fighting" and being a "survivor"...  I have watched what cancer does..... too closely.  We should not burden our loved ones, with terminal diagnosis, with this type of language........ its not a war. It's not war when the winners and losers are already decided.  We hold on to hope and for good reasons..... but perhaps for selfish ones.  

It's OK to surrender.      

For everyone whose "fought the fight" or let go as peacefully as they were brought into this world,  this anti-war song is for you, your families, friends and all the lives you touched.

FUCK CANCER.

HEY!!! ALL YOU FABULOUS PEOPLE!

So, this past year has been CRAZY. Despite the barrage of news, uncertainty and turmoil in the world..... I try to stay hopeful. 

This year I’ve had a lot of personal craziness as well. New place, new partner, new jobs and a renewed focus on my first and true passion... music. I’ve spent much of the past year working on a TON of new material and hope to have an EP ready to release soon in 2018! 

But for now.... here’s my take on Bing Crosby and David Bowie’s “Little drummer boy/Peace on earth”. A perfect holiday track to remember it’s ok to have lofty, idealistic goals....  I’m just doing me, doing my thing, rocking to the beat of my own drum 🥁🥁🥁
